Further improvement in arrival times in third quarter 2008

The recovery companies on the trunk road network have once again become even faster. In many districts, a clear fall was achieved in average arrival times. The number of districts in which an excellent performance was provided rose from 48 in the second quarter to 53 in the third quarter. An overview of these districts appears in the table below.
The number of districts delivering excellent performance has become so large that the frontrunners are at risk of being lost among the crowd. It has therefore been decided this quarter to specifically report on those districts with a perfect or practically perfect score in terms of arrival times. The companies in these districts are marked in the list with a

They deserve every praise for their professionalism and dedication. .
The details of the third quarter will also be used by Stichting Incident Management Nederland for taking enforcement measures against companies systematically exceeding the contractually agreed arrival times. In a number of districts, the recovery agreements entered into in April 2007 will be terminated, and Stichting Incident Management Nederland will move to select a new party.
