Spring 2014 best quarter so far

In the spring just ended, IM recovery operators achieved the best performance so far in the contract period 2013 - 2016. The average arrival time was 13:37 minutes, one second faster than the fastest period to date, namely the second quarter of 2013. Corrected for delays due to traffic congestion, the average arrival time was 11:56 minutes. The number of recovery assignments once again showed an upward development for the first time since the second quarter of 2012. 13,495 recoveries were undertaken: 11% more than in the equivalent period in 2013.

After 15 months of the new contract period, there are still eight districts in which 100% of the recovery orders were completed within the standard time. The busiest of these districts is NB319 in the area around Boxtel. This area has for years been covered by Bergingsdienst.nl in Liempde. In this district, in the second quarter of 2014, the company achieved an average arrival time of 10:43 minutes.
There are also districts with less positive results. In four work areas, for the second quarter running, dissatisfactory results were achieved. The recovery agreements entered into in these areas will therefore be dissolved. This brings the total number of contracts in this contract period that have so far had to be dissolved to ten.
The table below shows which companies during the past quarter performed more than 95% of their assignments with a driving time within the standard time of 20 minutes during the day and 25 minutes at night. Companies that managed to respond to all reported incidents within the standard time are marked with an asterisk.
