Arrival times third quarter 2009

During the third quarter of 2009, recovery companies in 26 districts stood out for their excellent arrival times. Once again the Brabant-based recovery companies were frontrunners. Accident Control, Bergingsdienst.nl, Logicx Roosendaal and Sprankenis, just like in most previous quarters, headed the list of fast recovery companies with more than one district. Stouwdam, responsible for no less than five districts in Gelderland, also delivered an exceptional performance, easily exceeding its already superb performance in previous quarters!

The majority of other companies at the top of the list for the third quarter are well-known players as well: Dallinga, De Driesprong, Van de Biesebos and Kuzee rarely (if ever) fail to appear in the list of honours. New additions (from the past four quarters) were Logicx Maastricht, Autax, Logicx Zwaag, Autoberging Twente and 't Hart van de Krimpenerwaard.

Some of the country's fastest recovery operators nonetheless scored poorly in the tender procedure for 2010 - 2013. This comes as a poor reward for their dedication over the past few years. This does not however mean that Stichting Incident Management Nederland has lost any degree of trust in the performance expected from the companies now contracted. It did however result at Stichting Incident Management Nederland and its partners in the conviction that past performance should play a greater role in selecting recovery companies for the future.

This month, Stichting Incident Management Nederland will be taking a decision on the way in which the performance of recovery companies will be considered for the coming contract period, in future awarding decisions. Further information will be sent later this month to all participants in the Tender procedure 2010 - 2013.
