Practical inspections in autumn 2009

In the autumn of 2009, Stichting Incident Management Nederland will be having practical inspections carried out into the quality of recovery work on IM roads. These inspections will focus on a variety of aspects of business operation. As usual, checks will be carried out to determine whether recovery operations are carried out by well-trained drivers using equipment that meets all the requirements.

Other aspects investigated will include the cooperation by IM recovery companies in the further transport of vehicles recovered by them. The investigation will finally consider the costs charged on to private individuals in specific situations.

The inspections will be carried out at a large number of companies, including recovery companies never previously involved in an inspection round.
