Stagnation in improvement to arrival times in fourth quarter 2008

During the fourth quarter of the year, recovery companies active on the trunk road network did not become any faster. The number of districts in which an excellent performance was achieved fell from 53 in the third quarter to 31 in the fourth quarter. Despite this downturn, there is still one newcomer to the list, namely Accident Control, in districts NB304 and NB305. An overview of the 29 districts with rapid arrival times appears in the table below.

In 12 districts, a perfect or nearly perfect score in terms of arrival times was achieved. The companies in these districts are marked in the list with a perfecte prestatie

Details relating to the fourth quarter will be reused by Stichting Incident Management Nederland for taking enforcement measures against companies systematically exceeding the contractually required arrival times. In a number of districts, the recovery agreements entered into in April 2007 will be terminated, and Stichting Incident Management Nederland will select a new party.
