More precise quality requirements in respect of insurance
Tuesday 25 April 2006
Stichting Incident Management Nederland has received questions from recovery companies about the text of the previously published quality requirement 1C in respect of the insurance cover which recovery companies must take out to qualify for the awarding of contracts for the period 1 April 2007 - 31 March 2010. The text was not entirely clear to everyone. Stichting Incident Management Nederland has therefore decided to produce a more precise definition of this requirement, as follows:
Quality requirement 1C:
The company must be in possession of:
- Carrier liability insurance in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Recovery and Transport of Stranded Vehicles
- Passenger insurance
- Company liability insurance offering cover of:
- at least € 1,100,000 per occurrence
- at least € 2,200,000 for all occurrences in one year, together
This more precise definition has been included in the tender document "Quality requirements for recovery companies", as included in the tender documents (click here for latest version).
